Tayyab Mir
Born on September 1961, Tayyab Mir has over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry of Pakistan. He has witnessed the ups and downs and has shared information with thousands of visitors regarding tourist places in Pakistan. Still young and fit, Tayyab Mir, is one of our respected guides who can cover all your questions and queries regarding culture, events, history, resorts and favourite tourist spots.
Majoring
in Export Marketing, Tayyab Mir has also undertaken french Language courses,
Tourist Guide programs, Skiing Courses, Training Workshops on Ecotourism and has
Broadcast various tourism programes on Radio Pakistan. He has also worked in
various capacities for the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC).
Apart from this, Tayyab has written many articles on Pakistani Tourism and
Tourist places which have been printed in various publications.
As for his travels; outside Pakistan Tayyab Mir has travelled
to countries like China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Germany,
Dubai, Switzerland.
As
a tourist guide he has taken many tours to Taxila, Hasan Abdal, Peshawar, Khyber
Pass, Swat Valley, Kaghan Valley, Chitral Valley (including Kalash Valleys &
Shandur Pass) Gilgit, Hunza, Khunjerab Pass, Karakoram Highway, Skardu,
Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Lahore, Rohtas Fort, Rewat Fort, Mankiala Stupa, Khewra
Salt Mines & the Salt Range, Lahore, Sheikhupura (Hiran Minar & the Fort), Wagha
(Flag ceremony), Harappa, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Moenjdaro, Karachi,
Mehrgarh, Quetta, Taftan etc.
He has also led treks to Nathiagali-Thandiani, Nagar-Hoper glacier, Duikar heights, (Hunza), Borit Lake (Gojal), Passu-Batura glaciers etc. While as a tour leader he has taken tours to China (the Silk Route tour) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara). So, anyone for Tayyab Mir!
